Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Steady Walks website, web app and any bonus materials (together, the "Service"), provided by Seattle Echo LLC ("we", "us"). By buying the 90-Day Pass or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. What Steady Walks is
Steady Walks is a training log and guide that helps owners of reactive dogs record what happens on walks, review patterns, and plan what to practise. It also includes printable bonus guides.
2. Not professional advice
Steady Walks is not veterinary advice, a behaviour consultation, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Suggestions in the app are based only on what you record and simple rules; they are not an assessment of your dog.
- If your dog has bitten anyone, or you are worried about anyone's safety, work with a qualified behaviour professional.
- Ask your vet to rule out pain or medical causes of behaviour changes.
- You are responsible for keeping your dog, other animals and people safe on every walk, and for deciding what is appropriate for your dog.
- We cannot promise any particular result for your dog.
3. The 90-Day Pass
The 90-Day Pass is a one-time payment of the price shown at checkout. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It gives one household access to the Service, including all dogs in the household, for as long as we make the Service available. We may update, improve or change the Service, and we may offer separate paid products in the future. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption.
4. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own household's non-commercial use. You may not resell, share your access with other households, copy or republish the app or bonus materials, or remove our notices. Trainers and clinics who want to use Steady Walks with clients should contact us first.
5. Your data and backups
Your walk log is stored only in your browser on your device. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover it. You are responsible for saving backups using the backup feature. Browsers, updates, private browsing or clearing site data can delete your log. We are not responsible for lost data. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no use that breaks the law, and no use of the bonus materials to create competing products.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, the bonus materials, the name Steady Walks and our branding belong to us or our licensors. The information you enter belongs to you.
8. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
10. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for loss of data, or for any injury, damage or loss connected with the behaviour of any dog or with decisions you make on walks. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the 90-Day Pass. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Changes and ending access
We may change these terms; the date above will show when. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and where we do so for that reason, we will not refund the price unless the law requires it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Florida, except where consumer law in your country gives you the right to use your local courts.
